This weekend just passed Lydia Jewels had a stand at the Sydney Bridal Expo at Darling Harbour. It was a successful event with 100’s of Brides coming by, having a chat, buying pieces for their special day, making bespoke appointments and entering our competition to win $300 worth of jewellery.

On display we had jewellery for Brides, Bridemaids, Flowergirls and Mothers of the Bride/Groom.

We were also invited to take part in the catwalk show. Some images below (please excuse quality)

Cutest Bridesmaid. When I gave her a pair of rose stud earrings, she said thank you by giving me a big cuddle and blowing a very dramatic kiss.

Are you interested in gaining experience in the fashion industry? Do you love accessories?

Lydia Jewels is offering internships and work experience.

Lydia Jewels is a jewellery label that is stocked around Australia and London and is featured in International press and worn by celebrities. www.lydiajewels.com

We won’t make you open mail and makes endless cups of coffee. Instead you will get stuck in: making jewellery, packaging orders, sorting jewellery, sending off pieces for press and liasing with private clients/brides.

You will also have the opportunity to be involved in the following events

- The Sydney Bridal Expo in April

- Fashion Week (RAFW) in May

- The Fashion Weekend Sale in May

Best of all, you can work the days and hours that suit you.

Knowledge of how to make jewellery is preferable but not essential.

Our studio is in Alexandria, NSW. It is essential that you can get yourself here. There is parking and Green Square train station is a 5 minute walk.
